NDUS Strategy Forum: Meeting the Needs of a Changing Student Body

In order to remain competitive and effective, the institutions of the NDUS will need to be proactive. Steps in that process include: understanding the issues, considering the options, developing appropriate responses, and articulating a plan of action.
A strategy forum is scheduled for June 8th and 9th in Bismarck bringing together representatives from the NDUS institutions to address the challenges and to propose strategic responses. This gathering will bring together individuals of the eleven NDUS institutions to identify, to consider, and to propose action plans that will effectively and proactively address the changing student body of North Dakota. The forum will focus on addressing the challenges and the changing demographics of the coming decade and envisioning programs that will meet the needs of the citizens of North Dakota as well as the nation.

Outcomes of the Summit are:

                • To identify and define the challenges confronting the NDUS in providing meaningful and necessary programs;
                • To develop strategies to meet the challenges of the changing demographics; and
                • To articulate a plan of action for the NDUS.
